Newlands Country Lodge opened in January 2016 and has since been growing from strength to strength.
Realizing the need for affordable contractor's accommodation in Kimberley we started off with 8 newly built two- bedroom units. We soon understood that the need was bigger than that, and proceeded with the renovation of existing structures. We now offer accommodation in 19 self-catering units, all with private entrances and private bathrooms. All our units are fully functional for self-catering and fitted with stoves, fridges, microwaves, kettles, television sets, cutlery, crockery and braai facilities. New additions are added on a regular basis.
We soon noticed that guests enjoyed the tranquil farm environment and requests started coming in for overnight and weekend stays. So we decided everybody's welcome! We now offer overnight, short-term and contractor's accommodation in a variety of options to suit everybody's needs. From single rooms to 4-bedroom units that can accommodate up to 14 people, we can offer you a comfortable and affordable experience, whether you need a tranquil night's rest after a long road, a weekend breakaway or a peaceful evening after a hard day's work. We also offer caravan and mobile camping sites with beautiful ablutions and braai areas.
Hire a 4 x 4 vehicle from us and explore the beautiful game farms, fishing spots and places of interest around the Kimberley area. We offer guided tours, as well as self-drive options.
Our friendly staff will always be there to help! Our team consists of myself, our handyman / maintenance / jack of all trades guru, and our two customer relations and housekeeping magicians. And of course Stranger, our gentle giant, who was picked up on the premises as a tiny lost pup, and now self-proclaimed King of the Castle!
Our very exciting future plans consists of among other things:
- A swimming pool and entertainment area for kids of all ages, yes that includes you Dad!
- A beautiful chapel overlooking the dam, combined with a brand new reception area, surrounded by magical gardens and water-features. Just perfect for a small dream-wedding or church events,

Quite and peaceful, real place to go and relax. The farm like atmosphere, the feeling waking up with chickens around the sleeping place. Nice stoep with braai area and place to sit and relax.

Die eienares was baie vriendelik en behulpsaam en ons het dit baie waardeer dat sy vir ons etes gereël het en ons nie na 'n lang reis nog plek moes gaan soek om te eet nie. Ek sal Newlands Country Lodge beslis aanbeveel.

Ons het dit baie geniet by Newlands Country Lodge. Hulle kon ook voorsiening maak vir vriesfasiliteit wat ons nodig gehad het vir ekstra vis wat ons saamgebring het. Plek was netjies, en het aan ons verwagting voldoen. Ek sal hulle enige tyd aanbeveel.

Newlands Country Lodge is 'n baie netjiese plek! Pragtige perde wat op jou voorstoep wei, hoendertjies wat met hul kuikens op die grasperk kos soek. Wonderlike plek om te kom rus van die stad se gejaag. Baie dankie, dit was 'n wonderlike ervaring!
