Newlands Country Lodge is located on a plot in Midlands, a 10-minute drive from Kimberley and just across the road from 3SAI military base on the outskirts of Roodepan.
All units are fully fitted for self-catering and comprise of a stove, fridge, microwave and a kettle. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, seating area and a flat-screen satellite TV.
Free parking is available and all units are serviced daily.
You can engage in various activities, such as golfing and fishing. Kimberley Golf Club and a casino are within 20 minutes' drive.

Kimberley is known as the Diamond City and you can start your exploration at it's main attraction: The Big Hole. Mind-blowing if you realize that a hole the size of eight football fields was dug by hand! The Kimberley Mine museum is a wonderful tour back in history, bringing back the way the city was during the frantic rush for diamonds. You can even take a tour down the mine, which descends a astounding 840m beneath the earth.
Art lovers can indulge in the William Humphreys' Art gallery, as well as the Duggan Cronin art gallery, or take a delightful 16km drive to Wildebeest Kuil Rock Art Centre, a declared provincial heritage site on land owned by the !Xun and Khwe san
The Magersfontein Battlefields and Museum is situated about 30km from Kimberley and a must to see. You can take a tour of the battlefield with an experienced guide and, visit some Boer graves, and it's said that on moonlit nights many visitors have seen the soldier's ghosts and heard the sad pipes of a phantom Scottish Piper.
Hire a 4 x 4 vehicle and explore the beautiful sites around Kimberley. There are several game farms surrounding the city and a must see is the Felidae wildlife centre where abandoned animals, mostly wild cats, lions, foxes, monkeys and caracals, are given a second chance. They offer tours, you can see the lions being fed, and even meet some of the big cats up close.
There are several tours on offer in Kimberley, one of them being the famous Kimberley Ghost tour. Or find out more about the history of Kimberley by walking in the footsteps of Cecil John Rhodes and the mining magnates, doing the Great Kimberley North Walk, or driving the Amandla Trail, which focal point is historic sites connected to the various Black cultures and their history in the Diamond City
The Kimberley Golf Club and Flamingo Casino is a 20min drive, offering a variety of entertainment and leisure activities in a unique setting. For the not-so-pro golfers among us the putt-putt roadhouse offers a delightful family outing and the best pizzas in town!
